Ride It If you have a passion for riding, this is the section for you! Get out on a bicycle, take a cruise on a Segway, or ride the air currents touring the sky. You can ride the trails on horseback, in a carriage, or take a tour in a bus. You can even enjoy a gourmet meal while enjoying the scenery - either by rail or by boat! Another great activity in Northern California is helicopter rides. You can see hundreds of miles of amazing NorCal countryside and mountain ranges without having to break a sweat, and the view from the sky is like no other. Take a glider ride for a touch of excitement and experience serene poetry in the air you'll never forget. What an awesome world we live in, and what a beautiful way to behold it! PRIMARY: Scenic Railroad Trips COUNTY: Mendocino Except for the passengers' high-tech cameras and modern garb, a time traveler from the last century would feel quite at home riding Skunk Train today. The view from the restored rail cars is pretty much unchanged: towering trees, deer drinking from the Noyo River, an isolated fisherman's cabin peeking from the forest. With occasional whistles as it chugs through tunnels, over bridges and past open meadows the train follows the coastal "Redwood Route" as it has since 1885. Trips are offered from two stations at opposite ends of our railroad in Fort Bragg, and Willits in the beautiful Mendocino region of Calfiornia. PRIMARY: Bike Park COUNTY: Shasta Redding needs a cycling hub and we have just the place! Join us as we build an exceptional bike park in Redding. Currently, the bike park coalition has presented the initial proposal to the city of Redding. We are now in the second phase of creating and presenting a detailed plan to Redding's Community Services Advisory Commission (pre City Council) for building a professional bike park at the Turtle Bay East location. We're actively seeking individuals and businesses who believe bringing a bike park to Redding would be a positive addition for the citizens of the greater Redding area. PRIMARY: Go Karts, Laser Tag, Rock Climbing Wall, Bumper Boats, Miniature Golf COUNTY: Shasta For over 45 years, Oasis Fun Center has been providing safe, clean fun for families and people of all ages. PRIMARY: Motocross COUNTY: Glenn We are 14 miles south of Chico, California on Hightwy 99. We have a 1/8 mile dark clay oval track that is the Saturday night home of the Outlaw Karts and Modified Midgets. Sunday's are filled with Motocross racing and practice on a motocross track with supercross characteristics. That's when you'll see the high flying, fast paced motocross racing action.
